Aesthetics Clinic Cleaning Service

The need for private health clinics to provide their services in a clean and welcoming environment is essential. Not only is this to ensure that all procedures are carried out in a clean environment, but it has an important role in reassuring clients who wish to undergo any procedures. An effective aesthetics clinic cleaning service is essential to effective practice.

The Problem

One Health Medical Group is a Bromsgrove-based private clinic offering a range of private cosmetic surgical procedures, such as hair transplantation, breast augmentation, and liposuction. They are regulated like any other clinic by the CQC. Section 15 of the CQC regulations require healthcare premises to be ‘clean, safe and suitable for use’. One Health was keen to outsource its cleaning requirements to a suitable contractor with knowledge of CQC standard cleaning. They would also require a company that was capable of performing infection control cleaning.

Our Solution

Sean and the team at Cleaning Technique have numerous years of experience in meeting CQC standards in their cleaning services. This portfolio of work enabled Sean to offer the reassurance that our cleaning service would meet their requirement when he met to provide our quote and detailed cleaning schedule.

1.    CQC Standard Cleaning

Once the quotation was accepted by One Health’s management, we proceeded with the recruitment process for a suitable local operative. After training and site induction, an initial clean was provided. This enabled each area of the clinic to be brought in line with our own high standards, but also satisfied the standards that the CQC demanded.

The daily cleaning regime and schedule ensure that our operative has completed each element of the Client’s checklist, these are kept as a written audit record for the CQC. The operative is also a key holder and confident in securing the buildings. Our vetting process at the commencement of our operative’s employment ensures that the client can trust our operative in this task.

All cleaning products are provided and used in accordance with COSHH and colour coding guidance. We review the operative’s work regularly and our management team has quality meetings with the client to ensure that the service meets our high standards.

2.    Infection control cleaning

As a clinic, infection control is incredibly important. Every healthcare clinic will have a local policy on cleaning reusable non-invasive care equipment to ensure surgical procedures and medical examinations do not allow germs to pass from person to person. Their patients’ safety is paramount to One Health.

We have lots of experience providing cleaning that supports infection control procedures. We always use suitable cleaning products in accordance with manufacturers’ guidance. Clinic staff should be cleaning between each use and after any visible contamination. Our daily cleaning schedule supports them in maintaining the standards of cleanliness required by including additional cleaning of the touchpoints, hard furniture, and flooring in the clinic.

The Site

One Health’s buildings are positioned in a semi-rural location near the M5, the larger building is set over two floors. The ground floor consists of a reception area, consultation rooms, along with toilets, and a kitchen area. The first floor has offices, changing rooms and hair washing facilities. The smaller office with a kitchenette and communal washrooms is set in a beautiful barn conversion. The daily cleaning regime and schedule ensure that our operative has completed each element of the Client’s checklist, these are kept as a written audit record for the CQC. The operative is also a key holder and confident in securing the buildings. Our vetting process at the commencement of our operative’s employment ensures that the client is reassured and can trust our operative in this task.

All cleaning products are provided and used in accordance with COSHH and colour coding guidance. We review the operative’s work regularly and our management team has quality meetings with the client to ensure that the service is meeting our high standards.

The Result

Our knowledge and training of our operative to provide a CQC standard cleaning service enabled One Health to welcome any potential clients into their clinic, knowing that it was clean, odour free, and meeting all required regulatory standards.
