Who is Schloetter?

Schloetter originated in Germany, where they founded their business developing metal plating and finishing products. The UK arm of the business has focused on the research, development, and manufacturing of a wide range of organic-based paints and lacquers for both protective and decorative applications. Their offices and factory buildings are based in Pershore near Evesham, Worcestershire.

The Client’s Problem

The management at Schloetter were in need of a cleaning service for their expanding mixed-use site. They are proud of their dedicated team of staff, and many specialists in their field of work. The management wished the team’s facilities to be clean and hygienic, promoting a healthy work environment.

The site houses a number of buildings, including an office building, two laboratories, and manufacturing and warehouse areas. The buildings each connect via corridors and include 10 individual offices, a meeting room, washrooms, locker and shower rooms, a kitchen and a canteen. 

Cleaning Technique’s remit would cover all the office areas along with the reception, landing areas, all walkways and staircases, a kitchen, a works canteen and a number of washrooms that house shower facilities and a locker room. 

It was a varied and complex site.

Our Solution

Sean met with the management and toured the site. He determined that the site would require a daily clean, Monday to Friday. He provided them with an itemised and detailed quote, along with a cleaning schedule for their specific requirements for each area of their site.

Once the quote was accepted, two operatives were interviewed to join our team and, once we had obtained references, an induction process followed. 

A site-specific induction was given and the operative was trained in the standards we required. Because the site had a building containing manufacturing machinery, Sean was very careful to explain our Health and Safety measures to the operative.

The operatives’ work is monitored to ensure that the quality of the cleaning provided at Schloetter’s is of a high standard across the site.
