Factory cleaning in Dudley

The Problem

Angleboard UK manufactures angle board corner and edge protection for different surfaces. They are now part of the Signode Industrial Group, which has 88 facilities across six continents. The premises that require a cleaning service are in Dudley in the West Midlands. They approached us to fulfil their requirement of an office/factory cleaning service for four days each week.

Our Solution

Sean visited the premises and met with the client. A quotation was provided, detailing the different areas around the large premises that require cleaning to a high standard. This quote was accepted and a detailed cleaning schedule was put in place alongside the recruitment of a local operative.

The newly appointed local cleaning operative was given training and a site-specific induction, covering health and safety and given the cleaning schedule to structure each visit to Angleboard’s offices. The building is set over two floors with a mixed-used space of offices, meeting rooms and factory space. The lower floor has a reception area, offices, boardroom and canteen and several washrooms, whilst upstairs has a small open plan office space, with a smaller office, washrooms and kitchen. Whilst our operative does not clean the main factory area, all walkways and staircases leading to and from production areas require a weekly clean.

All cleaning products provided are used in accordance with COSSH and colour coding guidance. Our operative is trusted by both ourselves and the client to carry out thorough cleaning to all areas detailed in the schedule. The operative’s work is reviewed regularly and our management team respond to any queries from the client to ensure that the service is meeting our high standards. Any additional services the client requests are carried out in a timely manner.

Our client is confident in our operative’s ability to keep their premises clean and hygienic. A clean working environment enables them to continue the vital work of developing and manufacturing products for the global market.
