Here at Cleaning Technique, we are so pleased to see so many of these vital but often overlooked service providers open their doors to welcome service users again. We are delighted to be able to support them, by providing a clean and pleasant environment for everyone.

The Client’s Problems:

1.      Problems with their previous provider

We provide regular quality checks, Covid-19 secure cleaning and based on your location a fast turnaroundAmber Support Services are a Bromsgrove-based support service for adults with learning and physical disabilities. They have a modern, adapted building and offer a day service with a wide range of activities for their service users. At the end of 2019, they contacted Cleaning Technique, as they were dissatisfied with the standard of cleaning provided by their previous contractor.

2.      Immediate start time required

They were looking for an immediate start, as Amber Support Services had been able to continue a lot of their services during the pandemic and had service users accessing the site every day.

3.      The risk of Covid-19

During the Covid pandemic, Amber Support Services remained operational and needed their users to be kept safe.

How Cleaning Technique helped

1.      Quality control

At Cleaning Technique, we ensure that all our operatives maintain the high standards we expect through the use of regular quality control monitoring visits. Not only are our cleaners trained to a high standard during their induction period, but we regularly visit our staff to ensure that they are maintaining a quality service.

Regular quality meetings with management have enabled feedback on any areas that need improvement. During these meetings, we also scan the site and suggest additional services that may be required, such as carpet cleaning for accidental spills or upholstery cleaning.

2.      A large team distributed over a wide geographical area.

Due to the large area we cover (the counties of Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, and Warwickshire as well as the city of Birmingham), we were able to source an operative who was already DBS checked and who we knew shared our work ethos.

Our contract’s manager having visited and quoted the site prepared a schedule of cleaning. An existing Bromsgrove-based operative with a current DBS certificate was then inducted to the site, initially working alongside a member of Cleaning Technique staff, to ensure the building met with our high standard of cleanliness at the commencement of the contract.

3.      Covid secure cleaning

Our staff is trained in Covid safe cleaning practices. We clean touchpoints and frequently used surfaces.

Amber Support Services’ building is over two floors. The ground floor has a number of areas for service users to relax and enjoy the onsite activities, including a sensory room, kitchen, and adapted washrooms for personal care. The upper floor consists of offices and meeting rooms.

All these areas are cleaned regularly throughout the week, closely following the cleaning schedule.
