Covid Secure Cleaning: Our Latest Covid Update

Despite the fact our nation finds itself in the middle of Lockdown 3 this January, we still wish to send you our sincere New Year’s greetings at the start of 2021. We really hope that you enjoy good health this year, that you are protected as our amazing NHS distribute the new vaccine and that your business thrives as our economy recovers. Every company wants confidence that their work environment is clean and, more importantly, safe during this crisis. We want to reassure all our clients that we are doing everything to ensure a Covid secure service during this season of social distancing and lockdown. We wanted to let you know about our latest Covid secure cleaning procedures.

Enhanced PPE

As I write there are whispers in some areas of the press that the Government may move to a 3 metre plus rule! Although Government guidelines have said for a while that operatives may work at 1 metre plus if more distance is not possible, we have maintained our advice to our operatives to stay 2 metres apart throughout the pandemic. All our colleagues wear enhanced PPE to ensure they, and you, are as protected as possible for covid secure cleaning. This includes gloves, aprons, masks and shields.

Anti-viral & antibacterial hand gel

If you require any washroom or hygiene products, including dispensers or hand sanitiser, please contact us for a full price list. We source all our supplies from a local manufacturer and have a range of products to choose from. The 100ml hand sanitiser spray has been very popular for covid secure cleaning. We also supply hand sanitiser gel, priced at £4.15 for 100ml or £7.35 for 500ml.

Staying local

As a family-run company we have always had a strong desire to support local communities and local businesses. Our aim to employ people living within easy reach of our client’s locations means that current Government guidance regarding keeping local can be followed more closely. Using local operatives for your cleaning schedule keeps transmission rates within the community down as much as possible.

Cleaning touchpoints

Our cleaning operatives are trained to ensure they thoroughly clean all communal touchpoints in your premises. These include locations such as door handles, light switches, blind pulls and stair banisters. As part of our regular cleaning programme we would also clean high-volume areas such as washrooms with anti-viral and anti-bacterial cleaning products. Our antiviral disinfectant product of choice, Screen, complies with the latest British Standard European Norm Accreditation BS EN 14476.
