Who are R.S. Hydro?
R.S. Hydro is a global multidisciplined instrumentation business, specialising in providing solutions for flow, level, and water quality for a range of sectors. Their headquarters is located here in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire.
What were their problems?
1. A new premises
Over the last two years, despite a global pandemic they have seen growth in their business and required larger office space. We had been providing regular office cleaning to R.S. Hydro for some years, so it was only natural that they approach us to help with the smooth transition from their old office building to their new larger premises.
2. A large area of glazing
The new building is positioned on a business park overlooking both the canal and a pond, an ideal location for their business. The front and side elevations comprise large sections of glazing.
How we helped
1. An initial site visit.
Sean visited the new premises and met with the client. Alongside a quotation for the regular cleaning of their new office, this required an initial deep clean of their new building and a similar deep clean of their old building to leave it clean and fresh for the new occupants. A quotation was provided, detailing the different services needed to ensure both buildings were cleaned to a high standard.
2. A detailed cleaning schedule.
A schedule was provided and gives guidance to the experienced cleaning operative, who due to the location, has been able to continue cleaning the new premises.
The building is set over two floors with a mixed-used space of the office and a warehouse space.
The main office, laboratory office, staircases, several toilets, and a kitchen are cleaned each week along with the reception area. All cleaning products are provided and used in accordance with COSSH and colour coding guidance.
3. A window cleaning schedule
The large areas of glazing are cleaned by our window cleaning team, both externally and internally, on a bimonthly basis.
4. An operative who has become part of their team.
R.S. Hydro views our operative as part of their team, and she provides a quality reliable cleaning service. Our operative is trusted by both ourselves and the client and secures the building after each clean. The operative’s work is reviewed, and our management team responds to any queries from the client to ensure that the service is meeting our standards.
